Job Description:

The Director of Cedar Springs is someone whose day is made when they hear about someone encountering God during their time on the grounds. Energized by serving the wider Christian church through hospitality, this person’s primary ministry is to model a heart of service and cultivate its growth in the organization. The Director works with a staff that’s dedicated to creating a welcoming, beautiful environment for people to connect with God and each other. In addition to leading a relational, Christ-like organizational culture, this proven team-builder will hire and oversee up to 30 staff members, host guest groups, oversee property management, and ensure the operational and financial health of the organization. This collaborator will work with staff, foundational ministry partners, and church leaders to envision the next season of ministry. Base salary DOE, matching IRA, paid time off.

What we’re looking for:

  • Both leadership and operational experience, ideally in a retreat center, church, nonprofit organization, or hospitality management.
  • Warm and relational, energized by serving and connecting with people, especially Christian leaders.
  • Strong Biblical foundation.
  • Demonstrated love for the Church, the wider Body of Christ, with appreciation for various traditions, ages, denominations, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary.

We serve up to 180 guests, often from more than one group at a time.
