ABOUT THE CHURCH AND POSITION
GRACE Church Bethlehem is a church with 150-year-old roots, infused with a pioneering spirit and calling. We recently moved into a new campus in the fastest-growing part of the Lehigh Valley, which includes a Sanctuary with a D&B soundscape system and Ross/BlackMagic video system. We are seeing God move in powerful ways in this exciting new season.
We are an all-generations community of people, living in different neighborhoods, with different stories, that have all been shaped by grace. Together, we invite people to know the grace that Jesus offers. This commitment shapes how we come together on Sunday morning, and how we scatter throughout the Lehigh Valley during the week.
The Worship and Tech Director will serve on our Creative Team, reporting to the Executive Creative Arts Director, and with our entire staff, will live into the vision of “Inviting All to the Know the Grace of Jesus.” The Worship and Tech Director will lead our modern worship services as the primary leadership voice and will be comfortable as a leader and a coach, developing musicians to lead with them. The Director will be competent in the latest technologies that serve the mission of the church.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record leading worship and building worship/technology teams, and will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in church music/worship, accompanying, vocal/musical performance

Major concerts are accessible at the PPL Center in Allentown, along with triple-A baseball (the IronPigs) in Bethlehem and AHL hockey (Lehigh Valley Phantoms) in Allentown. Bethlehem is also home of the largest free multi-day music festival, called Musikfest. GRACE hosts a worship service each year at Musikfest.
